Odin, also known as Wotan, was the Germanic and Norse chief deity, who was also the god of wisdom, healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, war, battle, victory, sorcery, poetry, frenzy, and the runic alphabet.
He was the husband of Frigg and father of Thor, Baldr, Hodr, Vidarr, Vali and Tyr.
